A great gate has opened! Our adventurers venture forth to brave new frontiers,

hoping to establish lush lands of prosperity, with its promised wealth and eternal peace.

 

Once across, it is not all as it seems.

 

A darkness looms, temperatures rise and they are greeted by a disturbing presence.

 

Lucifer welcomes our adventurers to his domain and tells them that

they have actually been tricked into entering the portal to Hell!

 

He then demands that they free him from the frozen lake Cocytus within the Circle of Treachery (Ninth circle of hell) or be damned to an eternity of suffering in his domain.

 

All is not lost, however, as several spirit guides approach our adventurers 
and offers them an alternative:

"Traverse through Hell with us as your guide, get stronger and face the Prince of Darkness in the deepest recess of Hell."
